After analyzing the profile market, careful documentation of the target audience and of the most effective means of communication at national and international level, was started the efforts to achieve the identity for the new newspaper.
The identity chosen is simple, with a strong impact and defining properties as differentiation and visibility compared to other publications’ identities of this type of market. The red square surrounding the logo gives strength; combining the two fonts classic/modern and maximum contrast red/black provides to identity a high level of memorability, the visual balance created inside the square conveys seriousness and professionalism and the visual accident created by the diacritical mark pointed by the interruption of the gray marking line means rigor in selecting, verifying and publishing of the news.
The graphic style was defined in accordance with the objective of communication, being directly strong and defining for conveying the central values of the new publication: seriousness, rigor, professionalism, vision, the power to inform correct and objective and also dedication to be free and to serve the citizen.
