E timpul pentru o schimbare

It’s Time for a Change! is a project of Close to You Romania Foundation and have as main objective integration of people with disabilities in the laboring field. The project is dedicated to ones who seek for a job and to employers.

‣ Visual Identity

Media Factory made the visual communication package for this project: symbol and logotype, communication materials and interactive design.

The open door, the symbol chosen to communicate the ideas of this project, represent equal rights and chances to a normal life for the people with disabilities. The colors combination of blue / green transmits hope, trust in the future and action. The exclamation mark completes the symbol, focusing on the objective of the project: new chances for the stigmatized ones through offering to them jobs, the fight against discrimination and the change.

‣ Interactive Design

For this project Media Factory built the web platform www.jobdirect.ro. This is the first job site from Romania dedicated exclusively to the persons with disabilities.

The platform construction followed 3 main purposes: the placing, by employers, of jobs for people with disabilities, the search and exchange of information and documents, the popularizing of the events organized under the dome of this project. The newsletter allows the informing in real time for the subscribed users with the latest jobs from the site, legislative news concerning this community and the employee and employer guide.
The design followed the familiar lines of job sites, highlighting itself through ergonomics, functionality and access.
The platform had as a base a complex module of management system that offers the possibility of management and total upgrade of the website. The direct beneficiaries of this project are the persons with disabilities, the NGOs’ agents from Romania and the business environment.

Media Factory got involved in this project considering it a priority for bringing valuable benefits in the life of people with disabilities.
